Dr. Wilfred Koon is a highly respected dental clinician known for his commitment to excellence and compassionate patient care. With a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Adelaide, Dr. Koon has built a solid foundation in dental education. His clinic has been recognized for its expertise in addressing dental fear and anxiety, as showcased by a feature on Channel 7. 

Dr. Koon’s expertise is further enriched by his extensive dental training journey, which began with dental implants training at UCLA. Since then, he has pursued comprehensive training in full arch dento-facial-implant reconstruction across various countries, including Portugal, Spain, Mexico, South America, and the USA. This diverse experience underscores his commitment to providing state-of-the-art care. Dr. Koon’s clinic has earned the designation as a Center of Excellence for All-on-4® Dental Implant procedures, reflecting his unwavering dedication to achieving optimal outcomes for every patient. Additionally, Dr. Koon is among a select few dental surgeons in Australia qualified to perform Zygomatic implants.

To enhance patient comfort and convenience, Dr. Koon’s clinic offers an in-house general anaesthetic facility. This enables patients to undergo treatments with ease, eliminating the need for hospital visits.

With experience in both the public and private sectors, Michael completed his Bachelor of Dental Science with honours at the University of Melbourne in 2008.

Following the completion of his degree he has gone on to become a clinical demonstrator at the University of Melbourne, helping to educate dental students partaking in their final year of placement. In 2015 Michael had the esteemed pleasure of being admitted as a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons in General dental practice in the fields of restorative dentistry and periodontics.

With a passion for utilising his skill to assist underprivileged members of the community, he has a strong connection to the local community. Michael has also been part of a volunteer project team assisting target groups in need over in the Philippines, where he enjoyed using his clinical skills to assist underprivileged communities.

Outside of the practice Michael loves to keep active with a keen interest in snowboarding and martial arts.

Dr Evelyn Teo is a passionate and gentle dentist who not only enjoys bringing out the best in every smile, but also putting smiles on her patients’ faces.

Following completion of her Bachelors of Dental Surgery at the University of Adelaide in 2009, Evelyn has purposefully gained a plethora of experience and knowledge working both in private practice country and metropolitan Victoria.

Known for her warmth and kind nature, Evelyn takes great pride in alleviating dental fears and ensuring that her every patient has an enjoyable dental experience. Her primary goal is to understand her patients’ concerns and empower them to take charge of their oral health.

Evelyn is a member of the Australian Dental Association and constantly updates herself in the latest developments in dentistry through seminars and workshops, with special attention to Cosmetic Dentistry. Her attention to detail and commitment to lifelong learning has resulted in Evelyn consistently delivering quality dentistry second to none.

In her spare time, Evelyn enjoys reading, is an avid globetrotter, loves trying out new restaurants, and spending time with her beloved family and friends.

Dr Olga Kaini is a dedicated and compassionate dentist with a strong commitment to patient well-being. She studied her Bachelor of Health Sciences in Dentistry and Master of Dentistry in La Trobe University, and has since completed her Master Clinician in Implant Dentistry.

Olga passion lies in patient care, and she is particularly dedicated to helping individuals overcome their dental fears. She understands that dental anxiety is a common concern for many patients, and she is driven to make a positive impact on their dental experiences.

With her caring and empathetic approach, Olga always goes above and beyond to ensure that every individual receives the personalised care they deserve. Olga strives to deliver top-notch dentistry that not only maintains and enhances oral health but also instills confidence and trust in her patients.

Outside of dentistry, Olga finds joy in practicing Pilates and treasuring quality time with her family. She is also a passionate Taylor Swift fan, always eager to engage in conversations about all things Tay Tay!

Dr Andrew Ng is a compassionate and genuine dentist who not only enjoys building exceptional rapport with his patients, but also always strive to make his patients experience as pleasant as possible.

Following the completion of his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Melbourne, Andrew gained extensive experience and knowledge in private practices across rural and metropolitan Victoria, and is now proud to be part of the team at The Point Dental. He was born and bred in the Western suburbs of Melbourne and takes pride in growing up amongst this community.

Known for his patient-oriented care and kind nature, Andrew truly understands the fear of going to the dentist and is incredibly passionate in helping patients overcome their dental fear. He is committed to providing quality dentistry to the community with a particular focus on patient centred care. Andrew respects and understands his patient’s needs & values and makes clinical decisions based on what is most suitable to them.

Outside of dentistry, Andrew is always on the search for the next largest meal to binge on – any new recommendations are welcome! In his spare time, he practices boxing and Chinese lion dancing.

Reagan is The Point Dental’s first dental hygienist!

Reagan was born and raised in British Columbia, Canada. From 18 years old, Reagan has been involved with the dental industry – starting as a dental receptionist and then to a chair-side dental assistant. A couple of years later, she graduated as a dental hygienist and began her exciting career!

Reagan is passionate about oral health and the relationship it has with overall systemic health. Reagan enjoys getting to know her patients and providing treatment in a friendly yet thorough and gentle manner. She ensures that each patient is treated according to their individual needs and that they are actively involved in all aspects of their care.

Reagan has experience in a variety of dental settings from community health, to dental hospitals, to private general practices and specialist practices. She has also volunteered her services in Vietnam, on mulitple occasions, and in Outback Australia.

With her passion for dental hygiene and her love of travel, it was a perfect decision for Reagan to move to Australia in 2012 and practice.. She just didn’t think she would end up meeting her now Scottish husband and having three sons.

When Reagan is not at work, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends and exploring different parts of Australia she still hasn’t seen. Lots of the time, you’ll find Reagan outdoors- whether it is walking, camping or chasing after her boys!

Li is our amazing practice manager and has been with us right from the birth of the practice.

As a practice manager, Li brings a wealth of experience to a role that demands an understanding of the level of service our patients expect, and what we need as a practice to consistently deliver that service. This ensures the smooth running of the entire clinic on a daily basis, and at the same time, ensuring our patients have an exceptional experience during their visits.

Despite the demanding role, Li always put on a friendly smile. Her pleasant and calming demeanour has a way of easing the nerves of even our most anxious patients. Li also has an extraordinary ability to remember our patients names, family and personal circumstances.

Li has worked in various roles in the dental industry since 2010. Starting as a junior dental nurse and moving to become the clinical manager within a large dental organisation, to now the Practice Manager of The Point Dental. Li’s extensive knowledge is never ending. She is passionate in continuing education. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree and has a certificate III in dental assisting and a certificate IV in dental radiography.

When Li isn’t running around the office you can find her socialising with friends or hiking with her dog. She is always out seeking a new adventure to take on.

Kelly is a visionary clinic coordinator whose strategic acumen and creative marketing ideas have transformed our dental clinic into a spa-like retreat. Her friendly demeanour and professional expertise create a welcoming and relaxing environment, ensuring a seamless and comforting experience for every patient.

With a rich background in customer service, dental nursing, administration, and client coordination, coupled with an honours degree in biomedical science, Kelly brings a wealth of experience to her role. Her leadership is characterised by her dedication to fostering a motivated team, capable of providing the highest level of care.

Her design sensibilities have not only enhanced the clinic’s ambiance but also embody her larger ambition to expand the clinic’s services. Kelly’s innovative strategies aim to reach and help more patients, reflecting her commitment to excellence in dental care and patient satisfaction.

Under Kelly’s guidance, the clinic is set on a path of growth and success, with her at the forefront, steering towards a future where the clinic’s impact on the community is as profound as the care it provides.
