All-On-4 Dental Implants Melbourne and Geelong
The All-on-4® denture technique is one of the most advanced and comprehensive procedures in implant dentistry. It is suitable for people who are missing or about to lose all their teeth.
What is All-on-4® Dental Implants?
The revolutionary technique was originally developed and patented by Nobel Biocare in 1998. It’s a permanent and predictable way of replacing ALL of your missing teeth cosmetically and functionally on all four of your dental implants in just 1-3 days.
No bone grafting is needed, so you’ll recover quickly, with minimal pain. Get ready for a beautiful smile, just days after your treatment.
What’s even better is that the success rate is extremely high – approximately 98 per cent. In fact, it is one of the most predictable procedures we do in dentistry!

How do all on 4 dental implants work?
Traditionally, replacing a full arch of teeth could involve multiple dental implants (usually 6-8 implants), bone grafting, and up to twelve months healing period. During healing, patients were given a temporary denture. The permanent teeth were only fitted after the jaw completely healed. It was a very time-consuming, uncomfortable, and expensive procedure.
With Nobel Biocare’s technique, only four dental implants are needed. This revolutionary technique involves placing two parallel front implants and two back implants that are tilted 45 degrees.
Tilting the back implants provides tremendous support for the entire jaw. It helps to overcome any bone deficiencies that can be found at the back of the jaw. This technique not only avoids the need for bone grafting, but it also allows new teeth to be placed within a matter of days.
Who is suitable for All-on-4®?
The procedure is suitable for most cases where patients want to replace all their teeth. This includes scenarios where patients:
- Are missing all or most of their teeth
- have broken and decayed teeth that are difficult to fix
- Have advanced gum disease and loose teeth
- Are tired of unstable and ill-fitting dentures
- Hate wearing dentures
- Have been told previously that they are not suitable for implants due to insufficient bone in the jaws
If you are a denture sufferer, or hate the thought of wearing dentures, All-on-4 is definitely for you. With this technique, you can have a full set of FIXED teeth that look, feel, and function similar to your natural teeth in just 3 days!
The all on 4 technique immediately removes the need for any dentures, and the associated problems that come along with it. Imagine how great it would be if you didn’t have to put up with loose dentures or annoying denture glues?
